AOR (Authority On Radio communications) was established in 1977 by two Japanese radio amateurs. In 1984 AOR released the first continuous coverage wideband monitor receiver. Continuous research and development has culminated in the range of receivers on offer today, including the widely acclaimed AR8200.
AOR's UK branch was established in Matlock, Derbyshire in 1991. AOR's other branches are in Japan and America.
